Read many reviews from different sites and took the plunge at this one. Build quality is good but player is very lightweight, loads faster than most, picture quality in both 2d and 3d is unbelievable. Crisp, clear, depth, great darks, vibrant but real colours. Only had a few weeks but watching all my old disks as they looks like a new films. As for reliability cant comment, but hoping this player will last a few years until 4k.
I bought this blu ray player because it looked very good. I now own it and it is the best blu ray player i have ever seen and used. It can play nearly every file format, even MKV and can handle subtitles if they are named the same as your file. Playback is great, fast and there is not much noise from the unit. The smart features are great and are high quality and it starts up very fast.
I highly recommend purchasing this product.

Arrived seriously quickly. Connects to the internet fine. Menus took a little getting used to but most do to be honest. Blu-ray pictures seem spot on to me. This is set up in my bedroom so I have noticed that the upscaling of a DVD, whilst good, is not quite as sharp as my Sony deck on the main entertainment system.
If faced with a choice though, I would definitely buy again and would really recommend it.

Bought this to replace a blu ray player but also to allow me to upgrade my tv so I can watch netflick and love film. Also allows me to surf the net this is made a lot easier by using an iPad app as a remote and keyboard to enter web addresses much better than the remote. You can get a wireless keyboard but already has an ipad. Also has on demand apps and many others. It also plays blu ray and DVD's

Whilst the picture quality with DVD and BluRay is great, I bought this mostly for the Samsung SmartHub software, giving access to BBC,ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 online video services, along with media playing from the rest of the home network.

Making a decision about buying a separate Smart box or a replacement blu-ray player with Smart features took me some time. However, it boiled down to, did I want another box and handset to go with the suite I already have, or did I want to replace the DVD player and get all the Smart features I wanted and have no additional remotes. Glad I chose the latter. It is neat, tidy and does everything I want it to do. Once I get a keyboard, I'll have as good access to the internet on my tv as I do on my computer. Sorted!
