I needed something to send that Sky+ signal up to the TV in the bedroom and this works great. No need to run wires around the house and it works with the remote too. Spot on.

We've just bought this kit for £54 from Asda. We initially tried a cheaper kit (£37) from another manufacturer but it didn't work properly. This system is more advanced using a 5.8ghz signal and in our case is not affected by WIFI, Dect phone etc.
It is slightly affected by people walking around in front of the transmitter/receiver, but that is to be expected and apart from the signal/sound quality is spot on.
I have the transmitter plugged into our Sky+ box and the receiver is on a wall mounted 19" LCD TV in the kitchen next door. It also had an infra-red sensor on the transmitter which points at the Sky box, in order for channels to be changed from the kitchen. Again this works fine, I just need to hold the Sky remote close to the receiver box, but that could just be down to worn remote batteries.
It does have 4 channels available should you have any interference, but in my case it works on channel 1 straight out of the box and I haven't touched anything.
We are really pleased with this kit and it has allowed a relatively cheap 2nd TV set-up for our kitchen with Sky access.
Needed some simple directional adjustment to get best picture,once set up picture quality was very good,and the remote control works perfectly with Sky + box. Transmitter upstairs and Sky Box downstairs.
Does not suffer from interference as my old 2.4Gh unit did. Very Pleased.

This replaced our old Phillips digi-sender, which I now see was awful. With the Phillips, we had to regularly change it's position/channels to stop hissing, and it was affected badly by the microwave and router. This, however, is a smaller and neater unit, and works PERFECTLY. No hissing, not affected by bodies, no interference, it's great. I've not even had to put the little aerial things up. The only (slight) down side is that - to make the unit work without using the IR extender - you have to point the front of the unit towards the front of the satalite box - which to all intents and purposes means you'd be looking at the back of it - not an easy way to set up. But, to be fair, we had a IR extender on the old unit, and we now have a smaller, neater one on the new system - so we're not really down on the deal. To anyone complaining about the quality of the picture - get real. It's being transmitted through walls - it's never going to be HD but it certainly isn't as bad as the old analogue pictures that I used to watch. It's perfect.
Also, one last point, they can be tricky to set up if you've never had one before, so if it isn't working for you, it's more than likely going to be something wrong with the way you've set it up, rather than a fault on it - I'd just ask for further advice to fix any problems.
I'd really recommend the unit and Maplins as the seller. We ordered on the Sunday night, was despatched on the Monday, delivered on the Tuesday morning. Love it!

We needed a devise to watch Sky in the next room without paying for multi room subscription. We live in a bungalow so the distance between receiver and transmitter is not far and only needed to go through a stud wall. However, you take this out of the box, attach the wires, plug them into sky box and the wall and other tv and you're off. I was cynical before buying it but this is brilliant. It did not transfer the picture as HD and I believe that there more expensive senders out there that do this (using HDMI cables, this uses a scart) but the nearer the transmitter and receiver are and are pointing at each other through the wall, the better the received picture becomes. For under £40 including delivery I can't recommend this highly enough.

Well, I originally bought one from Argos - a 2.4GHz thing that was pretty awful. This though is very good. Going through 2 walls with various different wireless systems - including neighbouring devices as I live in a block of flats - but it still works great. Sound and picture is great!
Very simple to set up, everything is pretty self explanatory if you're a bit techy, but if not, instruction manual has diagrams and explanations.
Remote relay works very well - no delay or having to double button.
Overall - very impressed and highly recommended!
